About Bramble Hall
Our family run 400 acre arable farm is located in Mundon, Essex. The farm has been in the family for 3 generations.
Only 2.5 miles away from the market town of Maldon and 11 miles away from bustling Chelmsford.
We grow many different crops though mainly Wheat, Peas and Oil Seed Rape. During the Spring and Summer there are patchworks of colours spread across the fields to enjoy.
We are extremely excited!! As well as our usual crops, we have also planted 2.5 acres of vines. Our glampers will be able to see them from their pods. We have a combination of Pinot Noir, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay and Bacchus. It will be wonderful sitting outside whilst sipping wine grown from our own vineyard. It's incredibly exciting. All good things will come to those who wait!
Our farm has lovely views across the fields towards the Blackwater Estuary and the famous old Thames Barges and boats. With private access for our visitors, take a walk along the side of the fields and head along the Sea Wall into the town of Maldon with bars, restaurants and shops (45 minute walk/5 minute drive). Walk the other way and you will find the village of Mundon which has a quaint wood, Grade I listed church, petrified oak forest and a cosy pub.
Escape from the noise and bustle and enjoy the abundance of birds, animals, flower and fauna our farm has to offer. We care a lot for our environment and try to farm in a sustainable way as best we can. We have added many wildflower borders around our fields for our wildlife, which therefore gives us all a lot of pleasure too seeing all the variety of flowers and inhabitants - with and without wings!
You may even meet our resident Pheasants, Bats, Kestrel, Woodpecker and Barn Owl or hear the Cuckoo. It's not just the wildlife for you to enjoy, the sunset, sunrise and night sky is stunning!!
If you see Crispin or his dad Peter in their tractor, don't forget to wave.
We love our farm and hopefully you'll love being here too!
